Friendly experiences in hotels

I've always had a great time at any of the hotels I have stayed at. It's just that the LOS is that kind of place! They are always friendly. You would to have to really go out of your way and be a right d'head or grumpy fart not to make friends and really pee somebody off.

I normally try and order in some food and a few soft drinks at the end of my holiday as a thank you to the staff. I do this during the afternoon to try and include the cleaning staff who obviously wouldn't be there in the evening. It costs me peanuts in the end and goes a long way with these brilliant, hard working people. Gives me a warm and fuzzy and they also get to have a laugh at my feeble attempts at speaking Thai! At least my Thai tattoo's are spelt correctly (I think!) Do it yourself, make it part of your holiday, you will definately enjoy the banter and the laughter.
