I have just received an e mail from Mrs Thera Duke who claims to work for a bank where there is US$14.6million waiting to be claimed (apparently money belongs to someone who was killed in an air crash).
Obviously a variation on the west african bank scam where you supposedly get 30% of the dosh.
The reason I am posting this is that I believe they got my email address from someone (peter?) at phuket nightlife.com.
I have not resonded to this email and have advised the abuse team at my ISP.
I urge anyone else who gets a similar email to ignore it; its only a scam...
Mind you I am a little disappointed, some of these scams claim there is 30 million dollars waiting to be claimed, why am I only worth 14.6m?
