Hello Everyone -

I am moving to Phuket this November, planning to stay for minimum of one year, and want to find an apartment rather than rent a room. Are there any sites I can go to for help in finding a place to live prior to arriving? I strongly suspect that negotiating rent now (beginning of August) will be radically easier than trying in November. Correct me if I am wrong. Any areas which I should avoid? I have spent time on the island before, but will be working this time in Phuket Town, rather than just on holiday. What should I expect for rental costs for a one bedroom, clean, safe place within striking distance ( 15 minutes say) of Patong and Phuket City. Kathu?
