Diz-: Before dumping all over your strides, I would suggest removing them and placing them in a safe area
I have only had the pleasure of using one of the "squat" toilets which happened to be in Dubai. The idea of cleaning up after with water is a good idea,and pretty hygenic if there is a clean water supply available.
However,if its just a dustbin full of water and a ladel,at some point you will be using your hand to wipe off the brown stuff,and I have yet to see a supply of hot water and soap to wash your hands with afterwards.
In this case,please dont bite your nails after dumping.
Personally,I find that a beach is just as good as a squatter, and you have a large ocean to clean up with afterwards. I don't know why more people haven't thought of it.
