My situation is so similar to yours that the above words could have been more or less said by me, as well. You get to a certain age in farang land and you can pretty much forget scoring with the young ladies. Not that there aren't a few willing ones, but so few that the time and effort it takes to find them makes it an extremely difficult task, and then you've got to make huge compromises, since they are dealing form a position of strength!
Therein lies the appeal of LOS. I love young ladies!
But the difference between you and me is that I have been married. And got taken to the cleaners. That makes it much less likely that I would marry a girl and bring her back here. For me, the options are to one day move to LOS, or another country with liberal immigration policies, or be happy living here with a few months each year spent in LOS. 50/50 might be ideal. But how a girl fits into all of that is very tricky, so I may have to just continue as before, even though I feel that I am getting to an age, where if I could find the right one, that monogamy(or semi-monogamy) might not be such a bad thing.
I don't worry about it all much though. Life is too short for that. Just take one day at a time, and be thankful for all I've got! Whatever happens, the challenge is to accept it and be happy with your choices in life. I think I am getting better at that. At least, I hope so!
