Rizza, I know it seems daunting to be somewhere on your own but just book a nice local hotel/guesthouse like the Yorkshire Inn, The Orchid Residence, C& N Hotel all guest friendly nicely located as easy walking distance from Bangla Road etc. Call in at MTB and introduce yourself, the guys there will make you feel immediately at ease and it will give you a base knowing where you can always meet friendly company, they will be happy to show you around or just tag along and as for later on you will never be without the option of female company for the evening, whether it be dancing etc in Tai Pan, Baya or Safari or going out eating drinking etc, the girls will show you around. My son found each evening he was with a group of Bg's/TG's etc and went to what ever nightclub they were going. After one night you will have more friends than you can imagine and will be totally confident to get around.
It might be first time youv'e gone on holiday on your own but I bet it will not be the last.
