Mail, post etc to Thailand

I guess many regulars here know sending mail or stuff to LOS can be risky or at best slow.
I've seen the question rised on this forum quite a few times on how to send stuff or have it delivered, so thought I should share this.

Wanting to send some stuff to Nonthaburi outside Bkk. I considered snail mail but since there is a danger it'll be really snail, or worse not get there at all I checked other options.

I then looked into DHL, wanting to send this stuff from Bergen, Norway it was not that long way to their office.

Delivered my parcel, filled out papers, gave them adress as well as recepients phone # and went on my merry way, it cost around 70 euro btw.

I used the number on receipt to track the parcel through the dhl website, this morning it arrived Bkk so I sent her a sms saying it was not far away, she had allready received phone call from them and explained where to drop it off.

45 hours after I delivered it to DHL she was handed it outside her house, guess she felt exited and pretty important then cause she was extatic and could not belive how fast it was, and hassle free I might add.

Was kinda surprised myself if I'm honest
