I think your story is the kind of story that we have all mostly experienced. She showed you the charms of TGs. The actresses who are the best on stage and in movies are the best because they can really truly feel the emotions of crying, happiness, love, despair, depression, etc. when they act the role on stage or screen. This is the way it is with BGs. When they cry, they really feel sad, when they say they love you, they have real feelings for you in that moment. But the next day, it is all in the past if you are not right there, and they will feel the same for the next man who treats them well.
They are like children. Can be so happy and excited easy as children. That is what we love about them. Can be terribly sad and cry if things don't go just as they would like, same as with children. And they want you to take care of them just like you would care for a helpless child. When the Frenchman wants to go with her, she probably knows he is a bastard, and maybe she gets 2000 Baht, but he will not come to see her the next night. So she would rather be with you, who treats her well, and will be back night after night, again and again, so she gets more money in the end from you, plus good treatment. She knows that, so it makes her sad to see you go and she cries because she wants to get her way. Once when I was a child, and my parents took something away from me that I liked, I cried for over 24 hours straight with no sleeping, and they could not sleep for listening to me. When they yelled and threatened to hit me(perhaps they did, can't remember), then I cried all the louder. Needless to say, I got my way. I think a BG would do the same if she thought it would get her what she wants!!

P.S. Turning down the money you offered her on the last night is the oldest trick in the BG's book! Trying to hook you for a sponsor or, at least, get you to come see her next trip!!
