2k per pound my point entirely.. Let me give a brief rundown as I understand it..

BC bud wholesale price 6 - 8 grand per kg in US.. 5 grand would be very low and well in excess of 8 in places like DC or NYC.. Domestic US bud at about 3 - 5 grand per kilo.. I hear in BC its usually around 4k per KG..

Compare that to coke.. Wholesale price in Caribean (Aruba or the Dutch Antillies) in the 7 - 10 range.. I understand mexican price is about comparable but perhaps a touch higher.. US Mex border price is about 15 - 18k per kg and a wholesale normal price in the US is 28 - 30 grand per kg at the low end of the scale (Cali / Florida) going up higher.. Thats for mostly uncut wholesale.. Of course there can be as much as a 50% cut once it gets out of distribution mode and into sale mode 9this of course skews pricing considerably, its quite possible to get a 25k KG of 60% or so but I think the above is about right guidelines for clean unstepped on)..

So your telling me that people are swapping 4 - 6k product for +-30k product ??
