to me, the thing that makes us the Thais diifferent form us the most is the extent to which they are social beings. They always like to be in groups, and their sense of self is very wrapped up with their family and friends. That is why face is so important to them, and I think it explains a lot of our things about the behavior of the girls that we find odd, puzzling, or see as being insincere or duplicitous. But it also explains why they are so much fun to be with!!
Perhaps the dogs of LOS are a bit like the people. They have got Bishop into the mix. Now he is a more social animal. Always has something to say. No doubt making his explanations so he can keep up his "face" with the other dogs. Or perhaps he's just a late bloomer. Maybe he's got a TGF!! That would give him something to talk about!!! He just can't resist those petite slant-eyed little dogs with the cute curled-up tails!!
