I see people mentioning IT work for a large multinational corp and hoping to be transferred. That sounds like a cool idea, but still, it sounds like you need a skillset that would be quite uncommon in order to achieve that?

From my perspective, 4 years as a systems level programmer (windows device drivers and the like) with storage devices, my skillset is not common, but I can't imagine someone sending me to a foreign country to work. I'd imagine it would be someone who would be a project manager, offshoring expert, or sales/service expert that would most likely get shipped out?
