Simon Jones will NOT play after failing a fitness test on his injured ankle.
Given that England have called up Paul Collingwood or James Anderson to replace him its a big blow.
The Sun newspaper today suggested that whoever wins the toss,will be in the driving seat for a win. I fancy Shane Warne can make this "his" test.Its not known yet whether Glenn McGrath will play in his final Ashes match. I fancy he will. Whatever happens there the Aussies will rely heavily on Brett Lee and Warne.
On a happier note for England,weather forecasters are predicting rain will fall in London on Friday and Saturday
I would rather the result is decided on the field,but as rain aided the Aussies at Old Trafford,I wouldnt mind if it helped England this match.
