Smile True story

Diz, I would be very careful with Olympic.
Few years ago flew with them out of Athens, sortly before take off an announcement in Greek and all the paasengers round me started getting up and moving around.
I ask the person next to me to translate. They said that the plane had been loaded badly and in order to assist take off, all the passengers in the rear would have to move to the front, as the tail might drag on take off due to this distribution of the cargo. This we did.Same thing happened on landing.Only now, on landing half the passengers in the front wanted to go back to their seats to get their stuff and the other half were trying to get to the front of the plane to get off.The stews got off the plane so quickly you would have thought it was on fire, leaving the passengers to sort it out themselves. From comments made, it seems this practice was not unusual, as Olympic captains had a habit of filling up cargo space with their own "cargo" which did not appear on the manifest.

Be warned, Diz, Olympic seem to have a weight distribution problem on some flights
