I've a question. I DJ here in San Francisco on occasion at a few bars and clubs, and I always thought it would be fun to spin a night or two at one of the clubs there. I was there for my first time last December, and will be returning in November, so I'd like to explore this.
1) Do they let Farangs play at some of these places, or is it almost all locals?
2) Who should I talk to about this? I spin House, breaks, almost anything under the sun.
3) What kind of equipment can I expect? Do they use turntables or CD Mixers, or both? Or could I bring my laptop and use Tractor or some other like system?
4) Also, do BG's find DJ's more desirable than the average guy? heehee
