You copy the cd tracks onto your PC hard disc,then upload them onto the ipod.
A mini ipod can hold 500tracks, the standard ones 5000 I am told by my nipper. Also the quality is better with no skipping of tracks.

Can I plug my hifi headphones in to an ipod? You use a lead from the computer to the ipod to upload the files? How do you find the track you want if there are 5000 tracks on it?
I like Pink Floyd, so I guess there is only room for about 3 tracks of theirs
