If you mean Uzbekistan Airways??
I used them once. Never again.
Several hours wait outbound in a freezing cold building that looked to all intents and purposes like a ballroom from the 30s. No food or drink to be had except a cold drink water dispenser. This was in the middle of winter.
Duty free is a joke.
Arrive Thailand, no luggage. It arrived 4 days later.
Return,-- Flight delayed overnight in BKK. They put us up in a hotel though. Arrive Tashkent - into the freezing cold ballroom again for 7 hours.
Finally arrive UK. You guessed it , no luggage for 3 days.

Why travel with them? Why don't you use one of the Arab airlines?
QATAR; GulfAir; ETIHAD; EMIRATES - all good and only 1 or 2 hours connection eachway in the Gulf somewhere......and cheap.
QATAR = excellent.

It's Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. They both have thier own airlines, mainly ex-aeroflot fleet with some Boeings in there. I used to use them to get around that neck of the woods on internal flights.
Uzbekair and Azerbaijan Airlines. Never flown with them long haul, well, Tblisi to Kabul which was fun to say the least. In flight catering not bad on Uzbekair.
Not saying to avoid them, if you have limited funds then go for it. For peace of mind, I would stick to your bigger long-haul carriers IMHO! Have a nice flight!

My mistake, I don't follow football but a couple of lads in my village went to all the away games apart from the one in Azerbaijan. I got confused 'cos we studied the American wheat industry for geography 'o' level

Sorry, who beat Wales? The Graveyard's favourite airline or some American wheat farmers?

Stevem gave him the link with his first reply, so we shouldn't feel too bad about hijacking the thread and talking boolocks.

That Lions team was a farce, it was full of Woodwards pals, and no way did it represent the pride of Britain + Ireland. I only rated a couple of them, so you might be in for a shock when you face a Welsh team, don't underestimate them!
