Air Asia, Bkk to Phuket
Well the reason I ask about Air Asia is because I have been forced to fly with them in December...
Last week, I was booking my flight from Bkk to Phuket with Thai Airways, Anyway was booking it when noticed had no ink to print out the the e-ticket (Noticed the other day they email it too you aswell ), So left it until I got the ink....
Got the ink anyway, And went to book it 2days ago and to my horror all flights were booked out until 14.10pm on the 29th, I arrive at 6.00am
Then I went to book a flight with Bangkokair and they had all there flights booked out for the whole day, So I had only Air Asia left, And found a flight for 10.50am and just booked it before there all booked out aswell.
But I have 3 questions about flying with Air Asia for anyone who has flown this route before?
1) I have heard before that this route is always delayed, But was wondering how long does a normal delay on this route and airline be? Obviously it can be from 1hr, 2, 3hrs etc.. Just looking for an average or the lenght of time any of you guys were left waiting.....
2) If this flight is canceled will they let you on the next flight or if they are all booked out are you just on your own?
3) And lastly my other flights are booked to Bkk, But can I get them to send my luggage straight to Phuket if I wanted too by giving them my Air Asia ticket number, The question is just more for future visits as I will be in Bkk for a while anyway so might as well pass some of the time going through immigration/passport control....
Thanks in advance guys for any help you can give

Have never flown with Air Asia but can give you some advice about the points you raise.
1. No idea but any delay on one flight will probably have a "knock-on" effect for all the later flights.
2. If your flight is cancelled , they will "try" to get you onto the next available flight but this will possibly already be fully booked. They would probably put you at the top of the "waiting list" and get you on the next flight with any seats empty.
3. Sorry , but you won't be able to check luggage through to Phuket. You will have to clear passport control and customs in Bangkok, then go to Domestic Terminal and check-in.
Flights from Bangkok to Phuket are filling up very fast , I am traveling on 23rd December and Thai flights are fully booked until 18.20 , and even then I have had to book Business class to get a seat. I think that if people have not already got confirmed booking , they will find it very difficult to get a flight at any time between 22nd December and New Year.

Hi Ally,
Air Asia are ok...sexy hostess and uniform.
I flew from BKK to Udon Airport with them, only thing I did not like is that the place felt very narrow, the seats were a leather style and kind of business class sized but didnt feel particulary comfortable for some reason, little bit too straight for the back.
I went from Udon last night to Chiang mai on Nok air and found this was much better because it is a thai air plane converted.

I suppose its all down to luck, Was going to just book the Thai Airways flight at 14.10pm but 8hrs is a long time to be stuck in an airport, So ill just have to take my chances with Air Asia and you can be sure I will let you all know how I get on, Thanks again
PS: If any BMs reading this have not booked a there connection flight from Bkk, You guys would want to do it A.S.A.P as they are nearly all booked out....

Have you check business class??
When booking online, you dont need to print the booking confirmation page.

Yes Business class is all booked out
I only booked e-tickets once before, And that time I printed them out and handed them in when I arrived to recieve my tickets (Never noticed any email then) so thought that was what you had to do....
Only realised afterwards that they send you the itenary in an email but it was too late then
