Is there room at the inn?

8 days to go, newbie to Phuket, stayin in Karon, anyone know or recomend hotels in Patong, guest friendly kinda walk in walk out jobbies, lookin at taxi & joiner fee's at my Hotel etc, i think i may as well book a room in patong for a couple nights party boom , party boom. Q. am i gonna find one? any i dea approx cost room per night,

Yes with some effort, although you could search the thread that details guest friendly hotels and email them. Ballpark cost would be 1500bht per night, but of course many different grades of hotel.

there are tons of hotels that for 500-700 baht a night you can crash. one i use for ST is next to 7-11 across from post office on rat-u-thit road. its getting real busy down in phuket, so may be a little harder

That 7/11 has been demolished now.
Their re-developing the site.
Pity as it was real handy for me.
