Decline of C&N?
I have stayed at the C&N a number of times now, and up until now the staff and service has been good if not great at all times. But has the 'secret' got out too far?
On this trip the staff has been as good as ever, but is the people staying there on the downward slide? Like any hotel that caters for who it caters for, you expect to be woken by the odd (drunken) idiot or bed hitting the wall for the reasons you'd expect. But when its a continues stream of morons shouting repeatadly outside your room all night long, or your door being smacked by passing fools night after night. Then their were the degenerates who decide to climb on to your balcony and bang on the window, until the tg your with crys and refuses to stay. It seems to be 2 nationalites responsible, and the staff have been as useful as they can (Kicking 2 people out that I know off!). So when does a good hotel become bad due to the peple staying there?????

All they can do is try and sort the problem out after they find out, Like they tried to do when they tossed the 2 idiots out, I will be staying there again at the end of the month and let you know if its the same for me.....

Hi Sishow,
Sad to hear that your holiday is being spoiled by dropkicks. Hopefully this is just a one off, but more than likely not. I assume that you will be staying elsewhere next time?

Mainly a touch more Yobbos and Backpackers than normal I think - A little bit more like Pattaya, than normal.
God I hated Pattaya, There for 3 days and saw 2 farang fights and a Thai guy stabbed by a gang in the middle of the day in front of a bunch of kids.

When I was in LOS this november we ran into some other Danish people that were just total beanheads. Their behaviour towards other guests and Thai people and girls was just horrible.. I remember telling the girl I was with that I was sorry that those people were Danish and that not all of us were ****** like them.
Other than that I really didnt experience anything bad but it just pisses me off when people travel to a foreign country as tourist and then just behave as they own the place. I have always tried to follow the customs of the people in the country I am visiting and I always try to behave as it reflects back on all other danish tourists if you are an ***hole.. "When in Rome do as the Romans" is a good way to think if you ask me.

have to say ive never had a bad experiance at c & n , staff have always been more than help full and not been able to do enough for me.
even when tee rac arrived back totaly rat arsed and had to be helped to the lift they were great . mind you it was a good nights sleep for me that night while she was busy on the big white telephone

Ive been on one of those packages before, its a nightmare, never again I would stop at home first. If Thailand was only a 2-3 hour flight from the UK, I cant imagine how bad it would become.
