Can this airfare be right?

Rates from Jet Star Asia

JetSaver Adult 575.00 THB (US $14.38)

JetFlex Adult 6,000.00 THB (US $150.00)

Fri, 24 Mar 06 Flight 534 8:45 am Depart Phuket
11:25 am Arrive Singapore

Can anyone tell me the difference between Jetsaver and Jetflex? ( Besides $135 )

This just doesn't seem right, is it possible to get a rate this low?

Yes, also checkout www.tigerairways.com

Be careful when connecting from another carrier, as you will need to allow extra time to clear immigration/customs and go upstairs and checkin again for the cheaper flights. No interlining with the cheaper airlines.

Wait, just a thought will check it out, but Qantas may offer interlining to Jetstar Asia.

5555 i was also asking this question months back.... but got it sorted out...
jet saver is cheaper coz there is not much flexibility.. you can only change the departure time... and you have to pay a admin fee for that.. abt 700THB
jet flex.. cost more.. its more flexible..... you can change the time.. date.. destination (have to pay for the difference in air fare) and even the passengers name......
so if you had decide on where/ when to go.. the go for jet saver...
sometime i ask myself why they even bother to offer jet flex....
hope that clear things up alittle..

I don't need to worry about connections or anything because I will simply be flying from Phuket to Singapore to catch my flight home out of Singapore the following morning.

What time do I have to leave Patong to get an 8:45 am flight from Phuket to Singapore?

2 hours before, perhaps add on half an hour to be safe in case of road probs.

I just got back from Phuket after my third trip. Jststar Asia, no problems, Allocated seating, reasonable leg room. Jetstar Asia, Tiger Airways both offer similar fares. I've travelled both as well as Airasia (free seating, no allocation) all offer smae level of service, pay for everything but fares are so cheap you don't mind. Jetstar and Tiger both operate new A320's. Go for it and say hello to Nok and Mam for me at the New London Bar in soi Tiger
