Qantas aircraft order

I realise OT, but will have an impact on Phuket air travel, as JetStar will be flying internationally from Australia, and Phuket is one of the new destinations, and they will be opening alot of new markets ex Australia, and also into Europe. I can see interesting times ahead.

Qantas has just announced an order of 115 x Boeing 787 aircraft.

The A340 is a total gas guzzler. The A350 is just a cheap 787 knockoff and the A380 is another inefficient fuel burner that is as over weight as me!!! But they are still European! Bloody Boeings Schmoeings!

Do Quantas still fly to the Queensland and the Northern Territories? Anyway, I'm off to the airport to boycott all thier flights out of Baghdad!

I'm never flying Quantas again for not buying the Airbus. I bet they are shaking in thier corked hats now! That'll learn 'em! G'Day

That little saying always makes me laugh Denver, its used quite a lot in my area, I think it will be little things like that, that will be pleasant memories once I move to LOS, I'll have the locals saying before I've been there long. The saying I really hate is from that Tailor on Bangla, "lubbly jubbly geezer, where you flom" arghhhhhh.

This is deadly serious Dodger and not a time for frivolity, I need you to get to Heathrow straight away (are you still there? WHY!) and stand outside the Quantas shop/desk/thingie and when you see blokes, women and children in dangly cork hats wearing shorts and carrying Boomerangs tell them about the state of the current British Aircraft manufacturing industry and how the A350 has an extra inch (We all know that extra inch is important!) over the Boings!

A very sad day indeed!

I want a BG to say in a lovely, sleepy Cornish burr " Hello my luvverrrr!" mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I need a little lie down now!

State of the what Denver? Don't we make the wings for airbus and that's about it? Don't Rolls Royce make engines for the others? Anyway, we don't make diddly in this country anymore, we are a service based economy (as in, the service in my local pub is economical for them; one barman per gazillion punters)
