Duh-h-h-h! That possibility crossed my mind, but it didn't seem logical. Wonder if there is a Patong Inn in Lamai?

Been in the rooms at Lamai Inn, seen both places but not stayed in either, they are about 500ish yards down rat uthid road from end of bangla, maybe slightly further but only 5 min walk tops, almost opposite Cristins massage. Both to my knowledge are girl friendly and were acceptable accomodation. Quite nicely located for most action, just opposite is soi kepsap (dodging all the massage girls) is about 5 min walk to beach, think your quote is about right at 1000bht.

To John Norway

I have stayed at the lamai inn for seven trips now.
Would recommened it, had no complaints on any trip.
Nice room and very guest friendly place.
The Lamai inn has a 7-11 next door so very handy at the end of a long night.
The room rates are about the average for most hotel so 100 baht higher or lower not much different.

Baz
