Getting nervous, help please

Hi guys, well I arrive for my first ever trip to Thailand on the 25th Jan, I have the first 3 nights accommodation paid for and was going to look around and see if I should stay where I am booked for longer or change hotels. My nervousness stems from the worry about not finding additional accom after the first 3 nights, I will need another 10 nights after that. I kinda figured that at the end of Jan early Feb I would be ok just to wander around and get in somewhere (Salathai, Patong Villa, C&N, Club Bamboo etc). Does this sound right?

25th Jan should be fine.. Stuff at all budgets...

Might need a half day walking around..

Helps to not urinate in the stairwells or have a police escort when booking rooms at 6am.. Hey Alf ???

You might be pushing it at Salathai etc but you'll find somewhere for sure, don't panic.

Normally you get Patong Palace for 800 Baht. For other hotels you can check prices at www.latestays.com for 2 weeks in advance. Leelavadee Boutique Resort should be near 1000 Baht after end of January.

C&N Resort and Spa

Hi Planter..
Just spent 10 night at the above resort 1500 Baht/Night...great place...BG Friendly...great pool...Only downside is you will need a MB to get around..so add another 200 Baht a day....

I'm sure there are plenty suitable hotel...but found the above great value for money...plus(rooms have a giant bathroom with real shower)...I hate the bathtub showers..

Enjoy mate...I'm back there early FEB
