Bargain flights Brisbane to Phuket....?
Gday, a newbie here, but heading over to Phuket in March.
What do you'se think of the below prices? Cheap I thought, but some waitin around at airports.
Brisbane Darwin return with Virgin is $258
Darwin Singapore return with Tiger is $468
Singapore Phuket return with Tiger is $98
Making the total flight INCLUDING TAXES at $824.
I'm using FF points this trip, but may try the above next time.
Cheers

EVA makes the trip to BKK, you might want to check out the flights. I don't think they fly everyday, but it would only be one airprot then.

This has been discussed numerous times, you need to also allow for overnighting in Singapore on the forward journey. Sort of blows the saving abit.

Can actually be quite night with an overnight before arrival in Thailand, then you probably get rid of most of the Jetlag before you arrive in Thailand. But i dont know if you get any Jetlag when flying from Oz.
I just know that i wouldnt mind spending the night at a hotel, like at Bahrain or in Dubai or something before continuing the flight for another 6 hours.
12 Hours fly time + the stopover about 1 hour makes you realy tired, and the conditions for sleeping in economy class is just not ideal
But atleast it was better then last time, Then we flew to Denmark from Sweden, had a 4 hour stopover waiting for the flight to Bangkok, now this was a direct flight and all, but then we had another 2 hours wait time in Bangkok for Phuket, so thats about 17-18 hours or so in flying time including the slack time at the airports.

Its only a 2 hour time difference (non daylight savings) to Singapore, no jetlag.

Good price
Hi RAS2001,
That is a good price but does it include taxes?
I also noticed that the flight is an evening departure with about a 6 hour layover in Bangkok before the Bangkok/phuket flight.
I am going in Feb with Singapore and managed a $A739.00 return but after taxes it came to just over $1k.
It is a daytime flight over with a 45 min layover in Singapore and a nighttime return with about a 3 hour layover in Singapore.
Steve
