Question on Patong Villa room types
Hi,
I'll like to check with the BMs as to the type and location of the rooms in PV and the differences between these rooms.
I stayed in PV for 4 days last week, in a deluxe room on 2nd level of block A facing the beach (see diagram).
There seem to be 5 types of rooms for PV, standard, superior, deluxe, Bungalow, Sweet Suite. If i am not wrong, Block A have 3 levels, and Block B have 2 levels.
Can any BMs explain to me which type of room is located in which block? U can refer to my very crude diagriam to indicate the location. Are there any differences with what u get in each type of room, besides the size? Thanks alot everyone.
Regards,
Nick
BTW, I am from Singapore, age 30. 2 short trips to Phuket so far with my GF, also from Singapore. Cheers everyone.

Hi Nick
From your diagram, block A is where the suites are located over 3 floors.
Block B has the standard, superior and deluxe rooms. I believe the best are on the ground floor with direct access to the pool through the balcony.
The other two blocks are where the bungalows are situated. I don't think they have difference in room quality.

Thanks for the quick reply Dawsey
So for the ground floor ones of Block B facing the pool, are they Superior or Deluxe?

No problem Nicke, thats what this forum is for.
Also,I wouldnt worry whether you got a deluxe or superior room as I believe the difference is very slight. Just a little better decor in the deluxe, but its only for sleeping in anyway, right

Ive just returned from patong villa. Rooms in block B are superior(ground floor). Room was very good with a large bed (2singles pushed together).
Tv and air con. Only downside was the music which was probably coming fromsoi seadragon or some other soi, which was quite loud till about 5 in the morning.

I must have been lucky as my bed was a queen size double in Room 106.
I hear there is a shortcut around the rear of the bungalows to get into Seadragon. Have you used it?
I am guessing that the loud music could be coming from the new club,Pirates, at the back of Seadragon.
Not so good if you need some nightime sleep.

I had a walk through sea dragon one afternoon, but could not find the entrance to the villa.

Thanks GME for the warning about the music. I like my rooms quiet, so block B is out for me.

I spent the first 4 nights in block A and that was quiet.
The room was only a standard one though with only a small window.
Not sure if there are any more room types in that block.
