Anyone have any info on this hotel. It is in North Patong. Is it a girl friendly place or will I be in for the hassle each night?

P.S. I busted my Phuket cherry from Dec-Jan06. Stayed in Karon at the Pacific Club. Would recommend to anyone, but wait for the construction to finish. Hammers pounding in the a.m. are not good for a throbbing head. I had the time of my life in Phuket. The place is simpy amazing. I will be headed back in mid March for sloppy seconds.

This is a great website. I just joined and am browsing the topics. Very friendly/informative and funny.

Dear Blue Marine Resort,
I inquired about the "joiner fee" and had some one explain it to me. I am an American male who has been working in Iraq for the last year. I can tell you now that I may find myself with a guest. I stayed at a 4 star hotel in Karon over the holidays and was never charged a "joiner fee" I would certainly go back to that resort, but wanted to try somewhere different.
I am a business professional and am discreet about what I do. I would ask that you please wave this joiner fee for me and the person that I am traveling with. I currently have 2 rooms reserved through a travel agency at your hotel from March 17-30. I very much want to stay at your hotel and give you my business, but think that the fee you describe is a bit unrealistic if I choose to bring a guest home with me.
Please let me know if you can work with me on this issue. I hope we can come to an understanding and look forward to staying with you in March.

I had a similar arrangement in another hotel....then spent an hour at checkout trying to get the extra 14000bht taken off my bill.
