sorry to post this here but i couldnt find this in the noob area...

how can you get from samui to phuket?

can you take boat or plane also how long does this take and what is the cost?

my first trip to los on 5th feb

as tintin says bangkok airways operate flights from samui to phuket ...cost roughly 4,000 to 4,500 baht inc. airport tax and taxi from phuket airport to west coast (Patong , Kata ,Karon beach)
Alternatively , you can get a ferry from Nathon to Don Sak , then songtaew (local bus)from Don Sak to Surat Thani , coach from Surat Thani to Phuket Town , followed by further songtaew Phuket Town to west coast for around 500 baht.
Depends if you are in a hurry or not to get to Patong -5555-

In April 2004 I flew from U-Tapao (Pattaya) to Phuket, via Koh Samui.

They stopped to pick up the very people you would be relevent to. The entire trip cost me only THB2390.

We were off-loaded at the nice low profile grass-hut terminal at Koh Samui for about 45 minutes, to allow for the loading of the Samui - Phuket passenger luggage etc.

I don't know what the leg from Samui to Phuket costs, but my total shown above from U-Tapao, which is about an hour by bus from Pattaya, was very cheap.
