Thai People Price for Tix: BKK to SFO?
Guys,
I know how much I have to pay for a RT Ticket to LOS.
But how much do Thai People have to pay for a ticket from BKK to the US? I ask this for a TG who wants to tour the U.S.
I'm pretty sure she can get a visa as she has a normal job, speaks English, money in the bank and a reason to return. I will do what I can to help her get the Visa. I will warn her that the Visa is the main barrier to seeing the U.S.
Still, I wonder how many Baht it would cost them. They surely don't have to pay the same amount we do.
Please excuse me if this has been asked before.

Sometimes TG offer discounted fares to Thai nationals. She will need to go into a TG office and ask.

Have her ask a travel agent in LOS. Usually cheaper if you buy ticket where you start your trip.

D'ya mean Thai Airlines? I assume so. Is TG the shortname for the airline?
So you guys don't have a read on a ballpark price for a Thai National?
Is it a LOT less than we pay or just a bit less?
Appreciate it fellas.

Yes TG is Thai Airways. Tell her to go and check it out herself.

For Thai Air r/t BKK-SFO, you'd be looking at around 68,000 baht thru Internet promotions. Best price I've seen on this routing is thru China Airlines; r/t would run about 39,000 baht. (Even less expensive to go fly LAX-BKK where a one-way would cost less than 20,000 baht; r/t 29,500 baht...of course, then you still need to get up to Frisco but cheap airfare abounds w/carriers like SWA, Ted, Jet Blue, etc.) Good luck.

I know that a lot of folks say that native SF folk don't like to hear it like "Frisco". My feeling is that I really don't care what ya call it, just come here and enjoy the hell out of it. It's one of the best damn cities in the world...
Thanks for the low down gentlemen. I think I have enough info to answer my gal back.
