In Dubai right now and keeping busy - Honest!!! Quark Quark Wibble Wibble Spliff Spliff etc etc

Lad here is in a timeshare mullarkey thingy shennigins and he has been offered two weeks (With his missus!) at the Royal Lighthouse Villas at Boat Lagoon for twenty British quid.............PER WEEK!!!! I have looked at the website below and it gives you the usual.

I offered to ask the forum for him to see if anyone has any experience of this place. Don't need to know about joiner fees obviously!! His other alternative is Goa and I want him to get to Phuket and the MTB!

sounds very similar an offer i got while in Patong.

usual schtick about time-share but i couldn't find anything wrong with the offer i.e. 1week free accommodation (2 adults +2kids) on Koh Samui plus extra 1 week free in Bali, all 5star resorts.

Downside, was cost of flights, $40 booking fee, possibility of not getting the dates you wanted and I got the impression from the rep i talked to (Glasgow guy named Jimmy) that the offer included a clause that obligated you to listen to more timeshare sh1t(real hard sell this time, apparently)

Afraid i don't know anything about this particular resort, different company but reckon same same. Wish him luck, i won't be taking them up on their kind offer

Hi Denver:
If it is part of his timeshare deal then it's cheap enough.

The main problem he will have is location.The Boat Lagoon is on the way to the airport about 1 k north of the by pass road.To get to MTB will cost him an arm and a leg each trip.
