Just book a hotel near bangla, get your butt down there, and see where your type of crowd is hanging out!

Thara Patong is a nice hotel - location, service and price/quality wise -, but I believe to have read that they currently are no longer GF. Better check that first. |

Agree, No way this guy would like Thara Patong. Many many hotels cheaper and closer to Bangla. I'd say much closer to a 10 minute walk down busy sidewalks. Also not guest friendly--700 baht joiner fee I think. Also not a party hotel. Very quiet at night, security guards around etc.. It's a nice hotel but not for a guy looking for a party. |

For young travelers,  better stay in Patong area, many hotel there... |
