Chiang Mai to Phuket
Does anyone know if any of the Internal carriers fly direct from Chiang Mai to Phuket or would I still have to go via Bangkok? Also if there is a direct flight is it more expensive than flying via Bangkok on one of the budget airlines?

Seems a bit on the cheap side. BKK to Phuket is usually about 3,400 baht, and I paid 3,400 BKK to Chiang Rai (Chiang Mai might be a bit less). I know TIT, but some logical approach would suggest a price in excess of 2,400. Just checked 5,095 baht including taxes. Flight time 1 hr 55 mins
