Dirt cheap flights

Sorry, I don't know of any .

But can we have a thread where people can post information on good deals they come across. You might not want it, but please bring it to the attention of the board. Could be good to have them all on one thread.

It is a good idea because we get the same questions coming up all the time for cheap flights or good accomadation.

Maybe we could have a sticky at the top of this section for each.

This site is always worth a look...

www.cheapflights.co.uk

(should I add a few more lines in case this gets deleted as well ?? 55555 )

The above site is one that shows a lot of Travel Agents best prices and is not an agency itself.
Apparently one company offering a flight out 1st April and back 8th April for £242 with Royal Jordanian airways via Amman.

Used airline network a few times in the past and no problems at all.

One tip tho, if you see a price with them always check out the airlines own website you might just get it a little cheaper

HI Bono

On average about 30% cheaper, but you have to buy in reverse i.e. BKK-Copenhagen? return. But if u r on a constant cycle of going to los then no problem. If u want to be flexible make sure you can change dates

Just pop into a travel agent nxt time ur in patong or BKK

Just be aware of potential visa/right to enter on one way ticket when checking in. Some airlines will ask for a visa or ticket out of Thailand before allowing you to checkin, when travelling on a one way or the return segment of a ticket brought in Thailand.

Do these fly from the UK/Europe/USA/Australia?

We all know about cheap flights within Asia, the idea of this thread is for special offers from around the world to Thailand.

If it is possible to save 30% on the return ticket, then you could just buy the cheapest one way out of bkk so you have an onward ticket and you would still be saving a packet.

Going to be buying a return ticket from Thailand pretty soon, so will check with the airline before I return.

Checking in at Sydney, they are just ****. Once was checkin on the return segment of my ticket back to Phuket, and I presented a Bangkok/Penang ticket, which had expired 3 days before. I had to go and buy another one, before I could checkin. They will not even accept your word that you have made a booking on the net and have an eticket, without you presenting your email for the booking.

Just make sure you checkout where your boarding on the details there. Nothing worse than being told at checkin, that you need to buy another ticket.

Certainly will do. Presumably you wouldn't get grief if you are coming back to Thailand on a Non-Imm visa??

No, if you have any type of visa, even just a 2 month tourist visa you can enter Thailand on a one way ticket.

On my last trip to BKK, I had purchased a return from Bangkok to Paris -- so effectively had a one way ticket from Paris to BKK. The lady checking me in started to give me a little flak (where do you live, do you have another ticket out of BKK?) and some Thai Airways manager dude came up and just said it's okay, no problem. But I had the feeling I got a little lucky, or at least saved a long discussion! Getting a 2 month tourist visa out of Paris is exactly what I will do next time - save 30% on the flight less the cost of the visa. Good deal.

By the way, for flights from France, www.easyvols.fr is a very good search engine that directs you to the online site selling the ticket.

Cheers,
Robaht
