Prices at Laguna Beach Resort

We are staying at the Laguna Beach Resort in just over a week and I wondered if anyone could tell me average price of food/drink in the hotel in GBP?

Life is hectic here so we are after a relaxing week of nothing but sun, sand, sea .. and the rest. I wanted to do this in Phuket to help economy rather than the usual caribeean ...

Any help is much appreciated!

Rachel

Just outside the laguna hotel complex (there are five hotels) there are restaurants and bars and also a very nice deli called Siam deli(plug, plug)where you can get meats and cheeses and sandwiches and bring back to hotel.
The prices in the hotel will be slightly cheaper than carribean.

Try lotus restaurant on the beach nice food and ambiance

Cheers!

Follow urtheman's suggestion - there many great restaurants and bars just outside the resort area - all priced lower than the hotels in the resorts complex.

But, since you asked, drinks (cocktails) at the hotels will start about B100-120 (happy hour) and go up from there.

Up and down the beach - just outside your hotel are lots of excellent "beach shack" type restaurants where you can eat with your toes in the sand.

Lotus - mentioned above - is my favorite! Here is a webpage about Lotus:

http://phuketdelight.com/Lotus.htm

The Lotus will be north of LBR about 1/2km - right on the beach - can't miss it.

Just outside LBR - is also a nice beach restaurant called Tom Yam Goong - also excellent. Farther to the south - just south of Rydges/Amora - is Bang Tao Seafood - also super good.

There is an ATM - and an exchange bank (9-9 I think) right in Canal Village - the shopping center in the resorts complex. Right outside the complex - at least ten more up and down the road.

Great! Cheers for the advice. Appreciate it.

I think it's a good thing that the rich tourists are spending there ... will help economy.

By the way, I'm not one of them - this is my life's savings
