Asiarooms

Has anyone had any bad experiences after having booked rooms through Asiarooms? I have read on other forums of some bad experiences with accomodation and also with trying to obtain refunds after cancelling.

I used their website about ten times for hotels in Bangkok last year.No problems. I couldn't get better than their prices anywhere. The prices can be up to 60% of the hotel website or walk in off the street quotes. The reviews are usually very helpful. They need at least three days advance booking. Someone told me to use the same reference number if your first choice of hotel is not available because they take the money from your credit card and hold it for five days.

Sometimes if you are lucky, you can visit some of these online booking agents, get a list of the hotels and find the hotels own web address with a search engine.

Thus ..cut out the middle man

Is that Felix resort - River Kwai ?

This hotel ? http://www.felixhotels.com/riverkwai/

If so, you got a good deal as the price on the site itself for the single room is B1800, so only 50 baht out.

Please use this website if you can and you support me and this website.

I use R24 and they are very competive, not always cheapest but in most cases very good rates. Also beware of websites with lower rates but once booking, they add taxes and other charges to it. (Not the advertised rate)

The best rate depends on the hotel in question, for one specific hotel it may change a lot between websites, one websites may be cheapest for one hotel but not other hotels and vice versa.

Ive actually got the delux river view for B1850 which is B2200 on that website, The garden view was only B1650 with sawasdee.

I hear you nicke I'll check them out for my next booking
