Open ended flights
Hi all...is there such a thing as an open ended flight...ie you get a return ticket but do not specify the date when you return
Wanna go to los and  and stay as long as my cash will let meRegards jd

Yes you can buy open return tickets or tickets you can change the date of.
Some examples here for KLM £485 stay for 3 months £75 charge for change of date £585 stay for 6 months £75 charge for change of date £800 stay for 1 year no charge for change of dates These prices do not include taxes currently around £130 Visit some of airlines own sites and see what open returns cost with them

BA are pretty good, they have never charged me to change a flight.
