question
Prices for flights (manchester to phuket, in november) seem a little high at the moment.
Is it possible to book the journey from thailand, (i know someone who could do this), and would I make appreciable savings? Many TIA

Usually its only a saving if its thailand -> uk -> thailand returns.. regular travellers sometimes take a one way andf then use returns origionating from SE asia for this reason..

Stick in the dates you want and see what you get. Try this and look at the terms and conditions of the tickets - I think it is ok for 3 months at least. There will be a stop over in the middle east, but will save you about £300.

most thai travel agents wont let u book a thai side ticket where your journey is originating in the UK, i tried that one!!!
I also noticed when you buy a long stay ticket it seems to be more expensive. Sometimes it might be better to just book for a shorter return date but ensure you can change your ticket or change it for a small fee cheers G
