Bangkok Airways vs. One-Two Go
After searching all the available airlines for the best fares for a Phuket to Bangkok trip, I've narrowed down my choice to between Bangkok Airways and One-Two Go (there's only a 50 baht price difference between the two).
Before booking, I'm interested in hearing other BM's experiences with these two airlines. Are they more or less ontime? Fairly good service (I'm used to the non-service of Nok Air and of Southwest Airlines in the States, so it's not really a deciding factor for me but it will be my TGF's first-ever flight)? Anything else I might want to know about?
Thanks in advance...

Thats like comparing apples and oranges. Bangkok Airlines is a full service carrier whilst the other is a low cost carrier (LCC). The former operate relatively new aircraft, whilst the other....
A no brainer in my mind.

Bangkok run smaller aircraft and one-2-go are usually 777 / 747. Both are good in my opinion.
You can get one-2-go flights cheap if you book early enough. The other option is Air Asia and i prefer them for some unknown reason.

Never used 1 2 Go but BKK Airways are very good. No doubt which one I'd choose if there is only 50baht between them.
In fact I'd choose BKK over all of them

Thanks for the replies; I just made the booking with Bangkok Airways. I'll give a report next month on my TGF's first-ever flight (if it's anything like some of the other "farang experiences" she's had in the past few weeks it should be quite comical ).

BKK Airways have a dedicated lounge for passengers at Phuket with free sticky cakes and juices and internet :-) So a bonus for your return leg.

Bangkok Airways
I flew Bangkok Airways recently to Sukothai...but this was beause no one else does from BKK....
Nice flight/service...really enjoyed the refresher towel on the return leg....the 38 degree heat did make me sweaty during the waiting around for the plane in the outdoor terminal
