Low cost Singapore-based airline, Tiger Airways is offering one way promotional fares to Bangkok and Phuket at an irresistible Singapore 88 cents.

The promotion, which will run from 19 May to 22 May 2006, is for travel from 1 July to 28 October 2006. The promotional fare of 88 cents (excluding taxes) is valid for travel from Singapore to Bangkok or Phuket as well as from both Thai destinations to Singapore

went to check out their website and manage to get the tix. It really is SGD$0.88 one way. Will be going to sin-bkk on 2nd oct and coming back from hkt-sin on 7th oct. Cost about SGD$48.00 one way. Great deal!!! while stocks last... the only prob now is the domestic flight frm bkk to hkt. Any recommendations? was thking abt air asia, but read some bad reviews abt them here... personally experienced their flight delay when i went to bkk the last time... they can actually predict their flight delay days before the actual flight... atrocious...

Use Thai or Bangkok Airways from BKK to HKT. Much dearer (circa 5200 and 4600baht return) but very reliable if you have a connection you must make.
I'd choose BKK Airways every time personally.

Thanks mate... checked out bangkok airways' website... got a promotion going on for travel in june for 1200bht... sounds like a good deal... hopefully, they'll have something going on for october travel as well...
