Need a little help here!!!
BM's,
I am in a bit of a pickle here and need some expert advice. I made reservations at the Andaman White Beach Resort for this week and checked with them last month, and was told that they were indeed "Guest Friendly". Well, I have keeping and eye on the forums and saw a great website that was recomened as a source for "GF" hotels. I went there, and what do you know, it said that NO WAY, are they not allowed. I fired off an email straight awary, and low and behold, was told that for an extra 2500, they would look the other way. Needless to say I am ticked by this. Here is where I need some expert advice. I am looking for a 4* place on the beach that either charges little or none at all, for and a joiner. Who ever hooks me up with a great place, will get a beverage of their choice this Friday.

Yep good advice there Jonny. Not the best or expensive, not the cheapest or worst. Good middle of the road place to chill out and relax. Has a pool but also good for the beach.
Has it's own entire thread here in Accom and transport. Worth a read Jezebel if you want to make an opinion on whether to stay or not.

555555555 Thanks Jonny! It's the Union Jack Thong today, just the thong though and some of that ball roll-on deoderant! The Pink one is in the wash! It used to be a white one but I put some red socks in the machine with it!
Nope Jezebel, I work out of the Red Zone. I was getting fed up of all that luxury in the Green Zone so moved out. Tch! I can only eat so much ice cream!
Not in Iraq at all right now...................which is good!
www.patongvilla.com - Drop them a line and see what they have available! Might be worth your while in the long run. Good luck and stay safe!

I never did the Green Zone thing, did a year down near the triangle and another way up north. Am done next month for good, but want to experience Phuket and take a sailing course at Yach Pro. And boom boom.
Stay safe.

One more question
How long is the drive and what is the best way to get from Patong to Yacht Haven Marina? I am renting a jeep and need to be at the marina each day at 9:30. Boom Boom early for this kid!

Hang on.. Thats Boat lagoon.. Yacht haven may be the one on the very north of the island past the airport.. A Lot father and nearer 1 hour drive..
Didnt think any RYA or anything happened there ?? Boat lagoon is the premier marina..

Hi Jezebel
If the Yacht Haven Marina is at the Boat Lagoon on the East side of the island, allow around 40mins to get there. You can pick up a great free map when you land at Phuket Airport. Look out for the crazy driving antics of the locals, expect the unexpected
You can also find some pretty good maps of Phuket on this forum and searching Google.
Here is one for you http://www.phuket-info.com/phuketmap.htm

yes The Yacht Haven Marina is located at Laem Phrao at the northern end of Phuket in the channel between Phuket and the mainland. so it is a 1 hour drive
