Acomodation for 40 days.
This is my first time in Phuket. I am going in two weeks for 40 days aprox. I read in this marvellous forum that Patong is one of the best places for my holidays, looking for beach and nice night party. I read about many hotels and apartments and I made a previous selection. 1.- The Beach Resortel, near Bangla, and 2.- Sunset Mansion, a little far, between Prawaramee Rd and Soi Chalem.
I would thank you for any information about this places, or others you know. Thank you very much.

Welcome to the board , I recommend Hotel Thara Patong at Thaweewong road? Sawatdirak road. It is very near Bangla and the Beach. When you stay that long you surely can do something about the pric . I stayed there for six weeks in June and July 2005 and I payd about 1600 Baht a night.

low season rates are good, you can ask them for long term stays.

HaHaHa, i'm naughty indeed!!!
Yes, they are girl friendly. In fact you see many guest with Thai Girls just chilling around the pool.
I like the idea of staying in a 2 bedroom apartment, then you and your mate can bring in more girls. HaHaH.
The apartments are actually next to the Phuket Graceland Resort.

I hope you have a visa allowing you to stay 40 days, as you may run into trouble upon entering the country. Although its easy enough to get a Visa Extension.

Not really sure bout apartments available on beach fronts.
Previous trip few days back, my mates stayed at Patong Bay Garden.
The rooms are nice, quite big, with balconies. The beach is just after the pool.
Not too far walking from Bangla.

Hi
Why not try the following
Phuket apartments 4 you, apartments, villas and bungalows on Phuket, Thailand
patongtower-rentals
or you could always place an in or search the following for an aprtment. There are many listed and if you place an add you will receive a lot of emails with offers as I did when I placed one.
Phuket Gazette - online English newspaper for Phuket, Thailand, with daily news, classified ads, yellow pages, business listings, upcoming events, event calendar, phuket events
I stayed at the Beach Resort once for about 3 weeks when I was on a 3 month stay in Phuket and it was OK, good location.
Regards

Availaibility
If you are lucky you may be OK.
If you try at high season 20th December to 10th Jan then they are fully booked now.
Always one to keep in mind.
There are also a lot of these units at Patong Tower rented privately. Try seaching the Gazette or place your own add one month before you plan to travel.
Oh one more I also forgot about is The place to Stay, which I have had a look at but never stayed in.
There is also the Yorkshire Inn which has an aprtment and its at the end of the nighlife area in Soi Sansabi
The Place To Stay - Phuket, Thailand
Luxury Apartments in Patong, Phuket, Thailand near soi Bangla
