blue sky air?
anyone used these guys to get to phi phi from phuket? I have no clue how I am getting to phi phi but I hear the ferry takes a while. Anyone made this trip either via air or sea? pretty easy?

In a a fast speed boat it shouldn't take too long. By the time you have got all the way to the airport and faffed around I don't reckon you would save much time.
I guess its a helicopter or a seaplane, which could be fun.

Fast speedbaot guessing 40 - 50 mins.. Can go from Rawai and I know a guy who is not a rip off price.
No air services that I know of.. A floatplane service tried to start but I think they were grounded by red tape.

If you are starting out in say patong + the service left from Phuket airport it wouldn't be worth doing.....that takes almost an hour......
Normal ferry about 3 hours......some of the dive boats make it in just over 2 hrs...... Speedboat from Rawai/Ao Chalong pier quickest option definitely.......

The float plane service did get off the ground, but wasnt too successful. One of the ex pilots is a BM on here, I'm sure he will jump in sooner or later.

ok I do not want to spend 3 hours on a ferry if I don't have to- but I am coming 1 week prior to high season- is a speedboat available? Should I just get in a taxi and go to the pier? Which pier? thanks guys
