Hotel email response time.

Hi gang,

I have emailed the littlemermaid (Kata) to make a deal for December, they sent back thier long stay price, I replied two days ago , but I have not heard back from them.
I have read good things about this hotel, so I am wondering if
this sort of delay the norm in Thailand--like "Mexican time"?

Thanks.

It's a little hit-and-miss. A couple of days is not unusual, but don't be shy about sending a backup/reminder/prompt - things frequently get 'mislaid'.

When i was booking my room for September i was waiting 3 days before they replied to me,but when i confirmed my booking and send them my flight details for the pick up at the airport they replied the same day,so i think its depence on how busy they are and if the manager is around...So don´t worry about it to much.

Oh, and ask for confirmation about a week before you arrive and bring printouts with you when you check-in - it might just give you the edge over the three other guys they'll have booked into your room in high-season.
