anorma hotel bangkok and cosy beach hotel pattaya

can anyone give me information on these hotels please.
i was wondering which are the best bars to go to that are local to hotels and are these hotels guest friendly. any other info will be gratefully recieved

hi furbar i stayed at cosy some years back(when the channel tunnel was just finishing) when i used to visit patts

its up a hill so quite far from the action
it was g/f at that time

I've stayed at the Arnoma in BKK a number of times as my TG got a pretty good rate for me there - like Thai people price. So I could afford to splurge for the suite. The tourist price is higher.

It's nice for the price! It's a solid 3 star hotel, very nicely appointed, clean, marble bath, indoor pool, great breakfast buffet. It's very close to lots of shopping and the SkyTrain. Across the street from World Trade Center, a large mall with movie theaters and a bowling alley - cheap eats on the top floor. Very close to Pantip Plaza and Pratanum Market. 1 stop away from Siam Sq. and MBK plaza. Very central and great location. Likely, it's girl friendly - but I don't know as I only was there with my TG.

You'd need a cab or tuk tuk to get to and from the girly bars, if that's part of your plan. Not too far, so it shouldn't be a deal breaker.

If you want to do a low budget splurge check out the President Solitaire Hotel. It's like a service apartment with a huge plasma TV and kitchen. Kicks bootie!
