You will have to look and than you are able to find good quality places for decent Baht.
As for myself, I lived on soi 16 in a 85 Sq meter apartment. Nice place with 2 huge balconies and quiet area within short distance of MRT and BTS. Pool and other facilities. Paid 20 K per month and approx 6K for utilities and phone.

But it can be anywhere between 5 K and 250 K depending on location, quality, size etc.

I can recommend this lot http://www.centrepoint.com/ after having stayed there when I worked in Bangkok for a while. I didn't pay the bill, my company did, so you will have to look around the website for prices but the apartments have eveything in them, i.e. washing machine, microwave, satelite TV, plates, cutlery etc. There is 24hour concierge services and in the block where I stayed (Lang Suan) there was a small grocery style shop on the ground floor along with a restaurant. There was also a fitness centre with weight training equipment, a sauna and a swimming pool on the 5th floor, plus a small office suite if you needed use of a computer and it's software, i.e. Word, Excel, internet etc.

Also depends how long you will be staying... Are you moving to bangkok and looking for an apartment or are you going on holiday and want an apartment???

If on holiday, check out the Ascott service apartments or the Chateau de bangkok serviced apartments, both in a good central location.
