C&N flag
I stayed at C&N for 16 days June/July. They offered a rate of 520bt per day when check out time came they charged 600bt. I offered to go accross the soi to the internet shop and print their email up and she told me to go ahead. The email had since been deleated from bulk and I ended up paying the extra 1000bt. I will stay there again but will come with papers in hand.

I run a hotel here in Norway and our guests are always adviced to bring their confirmation with them when they check in. There is always a chance for human mistakes, so you should consider the confirmation as your contract. If you got a good price or other special deals you should definitely bring it with you.

I had the opposite happen to me , was staying at Summer Breeze and was told I'd get discount. On checking out (with massive hangover !!!) , forgot all about it , was having coffee when Bill the owner (BM Billpay) came over and handed me some cash. Turns out that the receptionist was unaware that I should have been given discount , but Bill saw me and double checked.
Was good to see that some places are really honest and look after their guests .  Cheers Bill

Agree with me old mate IJ, been round the world a few times and I have heard people whine that they paid $1 for a t-shirt o/s when their friend paid 99 cents and believed they got ripped off! Remember where you are!

It's not the $25 IJ it's the grouchy lady behind the desk attitude that got to me. If that rate is offered why not give it to a long time customer? Actually the staff at C&N are a little off. How many times do they nock or call and ask if you want your room cleaned when you have the “do not disturb” sign out? I patently explain that the purpose of the sign is not to disturb me and calling or knocking on the door does just that. I guess 40bt tip/day is not enough to keep them happy, the last few days my room was only half cleaned or not cleaned at all.
