Some more info about Lanta please. Hotels, bars etc

Is Klong Dao beach, far to walk to Long beach (Pha Ae Beach)?

I am hesitating between the 2 places to stay a few days. Very important is also to have some nice bars (regular) to have a romantic drink in the evening. I like a cosy, neither too luxurous, but neither too basic with bungalows on the beachfront at a fair price!

I stumbeled in these;

Lanta Bee Garden Bungalow
Relax Bay Resort
Good days Lanta Chalet & Resort
Lanta Longbeach Bungalows

Somebody stayed at these places? Somebody know where bliss bar is?

I know that LIL stayed at the Casuarina. Although this looks nice, it is expensive in January and a bit too much resort to my taste. Like something a bit more casual.

I think walking from any one beach to another would be a hassle.. Its undeveloped enough that everything is kinda seperate from each other.. Nothing in the way of footpaths and just a dusty side of road.

Phra Ae would be my choice again simply as opium bar and the open air nightclub next door and reggae bars are all there.. Seems thats a large % of the nightlife action side of the island.. I can only handle romantic walks on the beach and sunsets for so long and then I need a bar !!

i always stay on klong dao at diamond sand palace,you can get a ko lanta tuk tuk between beaches for 30 baht,this by the way is a motorbike with a sort of cage on the side with a plank of wood to sit on.
