Emirates Skywards Miles Redemption Offers

Emirates have an offer on at the moment - http://www.skywards.com/Offer_detail...tcm:136-147324
This lists 48 destinations but essentially you can fly Europe-BKK for 45000 miles plus around £50 taxes instead of the normal 75000 + taxes
Must start outbound travel by 20 October.
There doesn't look to be huge amounts of availability but there is some.

Hope this is of use to someone.

Emirates have a deal underway in NZ at the moment, if you buy a full fare business class seat to any destination you can upgrade to First class for just one skyways mile.
Of course the catch is you have to be a Skyways member, and the ticket must be brought and paid for in NZ.

Will have to check out all the details , a lot of Emirates "special" offers are Dubia based. Usually this means you can fly from Dubai to London or Bangkok but cannot get "offer" from London or Bangkok.

I usually use miles to upgrade to business class , but if this is OK may look into it.

The web page may give the impression that it's Dubai based as all destinations are given from Dubai but I've checked with them and it's valid from any destination to any destination (via DXB obviously).
You would need to redeem one booking LON-DXB (20000) then another DXB-BKK (25000).

Think I'll get off somewhere first class

you take a look at wsgforum.com , I usually go to dubai for the african experience because the variety is so good.

Make sure you get BA miles on your trip.

Just signed up as a skywards member for Emirates, I did use them on my first trip to Los in 2004 and I think i might use them on my next trip in Oct for 10 days the cost £480. Thats £100 cheaper than KLM which i have used the last few times and I have 49,000 miles with them but not much on offer regarding spending them.

According to the first post and Emirates website with 45.000 miles you should get a trip to LOS...well, that's what I read only "briefly"

No availability on Thai for the days I need to travel...... - don't ppl realise it's supposed to be low season!
Anyway booked myself in Biz as it was a good price for that, but still a lot of money for a week's holiday

If you go to the emirates website and search using the redeem miles tab at the top for flights in economy (usually much easier to get flights from gatwick) london-bkk - if it shows availability phone emirates in manchester and ask for a booking with the half miles offer - tax will be around £40.
