horizon joiner fee..
Hi guys,im just wondering if anyone has any info on the horizon Karon beach resort and spa?...Ive done a search and found that the horizon in Patong is definatley not guest friendly,3,000 baht joiner fee...ouch...there is also a post saying that the Horizon out at Karon is guest friendly,so if anyone can help out with some up to date info i'd be realy gratefull.
The reason i ask is there are some very good deals being addvertised on t.v. at the moment in Australia,.1,100 bucks for 8 nights at the horizon in Karon, and another 8 nights added for the price of four,so for 1100 bucks and the cost of 4 nights accomadation i can have 16 nights in the L.O.S.
The only thing that could stuff it up is a rip off joiner fee,ive sent an e.mail to the hotel but no reply as yet. thanx ...jay..

One little thing to look for with that special offer....
Look to the compulsory charge for daily breakfast on the 'free' nights. From memory something of 650 THB ++... So much for free nights. Special check if it might be for 2, in case you book a double. Makes sense to look to other properties for that price. (650 * 2 ++ = 1521 THB!)

E-Mail the hotel direct with any queries, joiner fees or breakfast package etc, and then print the e-mail out and take it with you if you are a bit wary of the hotel.
