casa summer breeze

I stayed at the Casa Summer Breeze over the last couple of weeks and had an exceptionally good stay........lots of fellow BMs there.......good comfortable and inexpensive (780BHT per night) rooms.......2 mins walk to Bangla....1 min walk to the pool.....great food, great service and a warm welcoming smile and sawasdee kap every time you come and go.......

Bill certainly has a good eye for staff as all of the girls are exceptional........but none more so than Kathy the manager who takes everything in her stride like the true professional she is...........

I'll be back at Xmas/NY......CSB has everything and more that I need.........Bill if you read this please pass my compliments on to your staff.....

The CSB experience..........is highly recommended by me!!!

The Summer Breeze.

I endorse these comments having been fortunate in staying at the Summer Breeze during last month. I found the American owner Bill Harris to be a very friendly person who makes a point of getting to meet his guests personally.

I would urge any member seeking clean fuss free accommodation in a great location with friendly efficient staff to check this gem out.

Onya Nels!!!

I've been giving Casa Summer Breeze a good wrap in the forum and I haven't even stayed there yet...

But we are staying there at the end of September for three weeks...and have had many communications with Bill...he is exceptionally helpful.

Glad to hear of your great experience this gives me extra confidence that we have selected, after much research, the correct hotel.

Marcia

Summer Breeze is an excellent hotel. I found my stay a couple of months back, the best hotel Ive had for a few years now! The best in Thailand.
Bill is an excellent host/owner, and with a sense of humour too.........

May be back for a week or so myself at the start of my next trip if an apartment is difficult to find for that period.

Great hotel!

Even better staff!

Marc26,

Stay there,or not...If you haven't already been acquainted with Bill, you should do so. A really nice guy, and he's from LV. We've had a couple, or three chat's, and find that we (he and I) have an amazing number of things (in our lives), in common.

He usually takes Saturday night's, off..and generally slips by the MTB, to say hello.

Very nice hotel, also.

Pablo

I don't think that Patong Villia should be struck off the list as it has rooms that open on to their pool which, I have heard, has been many a fun meeting ground for board members. It is also a great location.

We have stayed at the Patong Villa and had a very nice experience. However, Summber Breeze is our choice this time as we don't need a pool and if we do there is one down the end of Soi Sansabai. Also I must say that Summer Breeze is cheaper than Patong Villa.

I also think it will be nice to have an English speaking host in the hotel and, as I have already said, have had many communictions with Bill and he has made things very easy.

Well guys + gal I can asure you all of one thing........you will be very well looked after at CSB......Bill is a cool guy and his gals are amazing.......and I do like the idea of giving my money to a fellow BM

I still like PV of course.......as Marcia says the pool is right outside your door their and goood for a late night dip..... .......55555.....but the personal service at CSB cannot be bettered and the price is pretty unbeatable really (half the price of PV) for the quality of the rooms and the service you receive.......and the shared pool is very nice and very big and is just at the end of the soi....

oh and I left a DVD player with Bill so if you would like to borrow it just let him know when you are booking...........

Thanks for the offer of lending the DVD player Nels...but if I know Mike, the first thing he will do is go down to Ocean Plaza to purchase a DVD player...

BTW if anyone knows where to buy a DVD player cheaper than Ocean Plaza...would you please let me know? Have bought one there before and it was pretty cheap but if they are available elsewhere cheaper I would appreciate if anyone knows.

Cheers

Marcia

Hey Guangzhou Guy,

Lester is now living in Bangkok with frequent trips to Pattaya. I hear he has a restaurant in Bangkok. I think it's called The Dive Inn or something like that.

Thanks for that Dingo.

The last time I saw Lester, about 6 years ago, he was getting friendly with the guy who operates Larry's Dive bar / restaurant, so I guess that's where he is.

Is Plastic (Patrick) still in Soi Sansabai?

Saw New DVD Players in MAKRO today for 799 baht!! TVs for 2490 baht.

I bought a juicer, kettle and phone there today...total 650 baht!

It's near Central.
