I have actually had this same argument before with someone else... It took me 50mins from Utapao airport into Soi 13 both times I done it, And they were in a private Taxi and I timed it on both occasions.. Is it just me?
probaly took u the tourist route  only joking champ never done that trip,but guess it would be like other trips and could depend on time of day ?

I emailed Thai Air and they came back saying operating from the new airport as from the 28.09.06.
So i am ok as i land with Qantus on the 24.09.06 but leave again 08.10.06 with BA who did not know when they were changing.

what i've heard is that when the new airport opens and start the flights don muang closes the same day
